Shouldn't be too long now until I get my PPL. Got my theory test booked for the weekend. Only have a few cross country flights to do and some confined area/pinnacle landings to get straight. After that it's just improving everything I've done so far. Gotta get those 180 and hovering autos sorted for sure otherwise I think I'm doing well.

Flying everyday is great, it will be a lot better when I don't have to pay for it though.

Throttle-pedal/settle-pull. Hover autos are fun as long as you're pointed into the wind and roll the throttle off smooth. http://wikirfm.cyclicandcollective.net/wikirfm-pplh/hovering-autorotations/

180 autos are a whole other ball of yarn.

Flying everyday is definitely the way to go. You pick things up much faster.

Are you going into the military?

No not again. I just meant when I'm (hopefully) instructing, still flying everyday but not spending a fortune to do it.
